OUR MOTTO - Dream big, work hard , have fun!

We believe that competitive skating is beneficial for everybody doing it and around it. Especially for children, it is like model-society. It’s a child’s very first ever lessons about losing and winning - failing and succeeding, while having fun at the same time!

Thus these lessons learned in ice skating are also lessons in life. The confidence and joy you see your kids gain today will become the greatness your kids achieve in the world tomorrow.

BEGINNERS - Why HIJH ‘LEARN TO SKATE’?

What is Learn to Skate?

Endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating and many other associations, a dynamic American program that focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development. Based on world wide long term athlete development (LTAD) principles (also core principles of the Royal Duch Skating Association - KNSB), Learn to Skate centers on physical literacy and the fundamental skills needed to take part in any ice sport or to skate as a recreational activity.

Who’s it for?

For the (PRE-)BASIC and “VOLWASSENEN”-groups.
Please find descriptions of these groups here.

What will you learn?

A complete series of balance, control and agility skills taught in eight stages of learning. The HIJH uses internationally-tested and proven curriculum and delivery methods that guarantee skater success in developing stronger basic skills and developing them faster.

What can you expect?
